Software housed here is currently only for limited distribution. At some point, much of the software available will become open source (or at least that is my hope). For now, software is only available upon request. The following packages are available:

1. A content management solution for consortium based websites.
2. An image gallery for scp based uploads.

• The second part of the above project (mosaic) was to create a program in Matlab that could do an automatic morphing (using tps) of some face images. Source here (1mb).


• This time the class project was to create a program that would automatically mosaic two images. Source here.


• This class project, also done with Allison Mathis, was to morph one image of a person"s face to another person"s face. Shown here (64mb) is a movie of Mona Lisa morphing into Lenna. Source and other files including a shorter video and a complete (1gb) zip of several avis and the source.


• Canny Edge Detector.zip WinfreeMathisEdge2008.pdf WinfreeMathisEdge2008.ppt Another class project, Allison Mathis and I wrote a Canny type edge detector. Please note that you might need some dependancies from the rest of my library listed here. Sample images can be found at the Berkeley Segmentation Dataset


• Sift Puzzle Solver.zip This is actually a class project from my first semester at UPenn. This zip file is a little bit big (220 MB), but it gives you access to all of our source files and test results. Start by compiling the contents of the sift zip inside of this zip. Those files should be in your path. Special thanks to Allison Mathis and Ben Cohen (my teammates).

• argmax.m Find the argmax of a 2D matrix.
• argmin.m Find the argmin of a 2D matrix.
• binrow.m Bin a row of data. I was originally using this with a argmin of SSD in image point correlation.
• blur.m Blur an image with a Gaussian of given standard deviation.
• edgekw.m An alternative to Matlab"s edge finding function. This is not a Canny filter.
• gaussian.m Create a 1d Gaussian distribution.
• gaussiandx.m Create a 1d first derivative Gaussian distribution.
• gaussiandxx.m Create a 1d second derivative Gaussian distribution.
• getpoints.m Return homogeneous form points; like ginput.
• getnormpoints.m Return homogeneous normalized points.
• hpwebcam.m This requires the windows image acquisition toolbox to capture an image from the built in webcam on the hp tx1000 notebook. If you also have a hp notebook with a built in webcam, please try this out. Additionally, it only supports luminence (greyscale).
• rgb2lab.m Convert a RGB image to a CIE-Lab image.
• rgb2xyz.m Convert a RGB image to a CIE-xyz image.
• rgb2xy.m Convert a RGB image to a CIE-xy image.
• xyz2rgb.m Convert a CIE-xyz image to a RGB image.
• sparseit.m A more usable (for me at least) version of sparse..

• push-files.sh A script to copy files from a local system to a remote system, preferably on a cronschedule.
